George Hill, aged 14 years, lost a finger as a result of an injury sustained during the Bombardment of the Hartlepools'. A claim for compensation was submitted by his grandfather Mr. George Goodwill, of 67 Granville Avenue, West Hartlepool.
George was awarded the sum of £50.00 as compensation for his injury.
