Rovers were in the happy position in this particular season of being able to put two x 4th Teams in the Shield.  The “A” XV or Crofters (aka “Shad’s Marauders”) made it the Final where they accounted for Westoe IV (then known as “Mariners” ) by 15 pts to 9.
