1981 - West Hartlepool 3rd XV

What we know about this image :

Colin Grey’s team of 80/81, a reasonable year according to the Mail “Junior Jottings” Column, with the team bowing out of the 3rd Teams Cup to the eventual winners Westoe, in the 2nd Round.

That defeat though heralded a more successful period for the side for in the next 4 seasons, they won the Cup in 1982 (Centennial Year) and 1984 and were runners up in 1983 and 1985.
