What we know about this image :
The photograph is taken from about the corner of Park Drive and West Park looking south in the early 1960s probably. On the right, the older houses are easily recognisable and just before those houses, behind the trres, is the start of Coniscliffe Road.
The two houses being constructed are there today, but are now surrounded by others.
The house with the butterfly roof was being constructed for Councillor J.O. Curry.
