What we know about this image :
Looking towards west towards West Hartlepool, the houses are in Cleveland Road Central Estate and were those which were badly damaged in the Great Fire of January 1922. when the timber yard opposite caught fire.
The houses were demolished in the late 1970s but the Central Hotel(The Klondike) on the second block from the right remained until 1981.
