The view shows the junction of Victoria Road and York Road looking towards St Paul's Church. The buildings on the right are almost as they look on this view although they are all now commercial properties: dentists, undertakers, opticians, doctors etc.
The buildings on the left were demolished many years ago. An open topped tram travels towards Ward Jackson Park.
