Elwick Road Junior School teams 1911

What we know about this image :

The photo was taken in 1911, a few years after the school opened. The writing informs us that it is 'teams' but unlikely teams for a sporting activity as the children seem to be in Sunday best. It appears that the children are holding reins with a boy at the front of each group ? It is some kind of celebration for the coronation of George V.

The photo is taken at the rear of the school in the playground.
