				Richard Marshall ALLINSON, standing on the right. He was born c1895 Hartlepool. Ser. No. 9961 Private in the Durham Light Infantry then 16383 Machine Gun Corps. 2nd. Durham Light Infantry.
He was a Prisoner of War from 25 Apr 1918, survived the war and was demobbed.

Some of the photos and postcards note; Name, Rank, Service No., Regiment and the dates letters and parcels were sent to them. The originator of this collection was a Mr. Fred Marsden a member of the Church and also a Postman. 'Fred's little book' as it is referred to contains 177 separate entries.
