Fate

The British steamship Seistan was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine UB-57 (Johannes Lohs), off Flamborough Head, on October 23rd, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from the Tyne to Falmouth with a cargo of coal. Five crew were lost.
