Fate

Torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-28 (Georg-Gunther von Forstner), 50 miles south-west of Ushant, on August 1st, 1915. The ship was on a voyage from the Tyne to Gibraltar with a cargo of coal. 3 crew were lost.
