Marmion was abandoned at Understeen off the coast of Sweden on 15 May 1882 & later recovered

Bound from Gothenburg for Newcastle-on-Tyne with a cargo including pit wood & railway sleepers & a crew of 18 Verdandi was stranded & lost at Lynemouth Sand, Newbiggin-by-Sea on 24 December 1892. No lives lost
