Master: 1871 Thomas Heap.

Chartered from Ibrail in the Black Sea for Falmouth with a cargo of grain & a crew of 20 Norton passed Gibraltar on 22 September 1871 & disappeared. It was presumed she had foundered in the Bay of Biscay during the gales of September. Most of the crew were from Hartlepool.
