Minnie Irvine - a general history

Sunderland Daily Echo and Shipping Gazette, Tuesday, September 18th, 1877:
WEST HARTLEPOOL STEAMER ASHORE. The Minnie Harvey [Minnie Irvine] has gone ashore at Maasluis, near Rotterdam. Assistance been sent to her. She was voyage from Cronstadt to Rotterdam with a cargo of corn, valued at £15,000, She is an iron screw-steamer, with four bulkheads, and of 110 horse power. She was built in 1872 at West Hartlepool, where she is owned. She is classed 90 A1 at Lloyd's. Her value is about £18,000 and she is insured in the Northern Clubs.
