Durham reach the 94 Final after beating Northumberland at the New Friarage in Hartlepool by 38 – 11 they went on to lose to Lancashire by 16 – 22 and then Yorkshire 8 – 30, both away games. However, they qualified on points for the semi finals and travelled to Redruth and its famous “Hellfire Corner” to play Cornwall and came away winners by 14 – 9. The Yorkshire side had an undefeated run to the semis before accounting for Gloucestershire by just 13 -12.
