In April, 1950, BBOB took on Rovers II on the New Friarage in the Final of the Pyman Cup, having defeated in the first Round Darlington GSOB - now known as Mowden Park. The Final was decided by just the odd point in 11, BBOB taking the Cup by 6 pts to 5.
The photo was taken in St Hilda's Churchyard, with Prissick Street School in the background, the man on the bike is unknown!
