1934 - Pyman House Flag
What we know about this image :
The Pyman Family continued their interest in the Pyman League in 1921 when they donated a Pyman Steamship Company houseflag to be flown from the headquarters of the winners of the Pyman League and Cup.
Robin Pyman was involved in the formation of the League etc., with Magnus Irvin as Chairman. First holder of the Flag was the Red Rose club who received the trophy in February of 1924, the flag was handed over by Mr Claude Harper, who was the first Secetary of the Pyman League in 1904.
The idea was revived in Millennium year 2000 when the District Union donated a copy of the Flag to be flown by the Cup winners as part of a number of events to mark the start of the 21st Century.
