The Hartlepool Athletic RFC team of 1945 -46.
In the team, Harold Boagey had a remarkable rise , gaining a County cap in his first full season. Turning his attentions to Rugby from Soccer in early 1945 he played for Athletic and in March 1946 was chosen for Durham against Northumberland. The first of 9 caps for Durham over the next 3 seasons.
