Probably taken in the late 1970s this shows the shops on the corner of The Front and Station Lane. C Harpe at number 2 sold and repaired shoes. The newsagent advertises the Sunday Pictorial and Womans Mirror. To the side of the image the Co-Op can be seen on Station Lane.
