Gulf Tanker 4

What we know about this image :

Nearing completion at the Furness Shipyard, Haverton Hill.  Steam-turbine machinery for this vessel was supplied by "Richies."  Its erection and installation was supervised by Jim Wilson.  Four of these ships, Gulf Briton, Gulf Dane, Gulf Scot and Gulf Finn, were built for Britannia Tankers Ltd., a British flag affiliate of Gulf Oil.  The gearing and thrust block for three out of four of these steam-turbine sets were supplied by Parsons marine, then a subsidiary of RW, with one set from RW (Hartlepool).  The Gulf Briton class was notable for being the last marine steam-turbine installations from RW (Hartlepool), covering the years 1959-63.
