What we know about this image :

The 20s proved a very successful decade for Rovers ln the Senior Cup and this particular campaign they beat Winlaton Vulcans 47 - 0, Blaydon 14 -3 and the Sunderland 18 -8 before taking on Ryton in the Final at Westoe coming out winners by 15 - 7, their 20th win in 26 Finals!

A sign of the times though, Rovers agreed that anyone unemployed who produced a Benefit Card could gain admission to the Friarage Field for half price.
