Fate

The British steamship Tamele was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-87 (Rudolf Schneider), 65 miles west of Fastnet, on July 16th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from West Africa to Liverpool with produce. One crewman was lost, Moses Pratt from Sierra Leone.
