Fate

On a voyage from Mormugao to Emden with a cargo of iron ore & a crew of 24 Allegra sprang a leak & foundered in the Arabian Sea in 16.43N/60.16E on 21 July 1958. The British steamer Carthage picked up 23 survivors. One life lost.
