Fate

On a voyage from Pepel to Manchester with a cargo of iron-ore Ousebridge was mined & sank off Q5 Red Buoy, Queen’s Channel, River Mersey, Liverpool on 29 July 1940. Two lives lost.

Lives lost July 1940;  Keating, William, able seaman, 55; Simpson, George Thompson, sailor, 23, Grangemouth, Stirlingshire.
