Fate

On a voyage from Seaham to Ramsgate with a cargo of coal, a crew of seven under the Master, East, during thick snow Glance sank after a collision with a schooner owned by the same company offshore from North Foreland in 51.24.24N/01.26.24E on 6 January 1891. The crews were rescued from their boats by the Broadstairs lifeboat.
