Fate

The steamship Star of Luxor was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-130 (Ernst Kals) in the North Atlantic, on December 10th, 1941. The ship was on a voyage from Philadelphia to Liverpool with general cargo. Four crewmen were lost.
