Fate

The British steamship Ribera was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-51 (Victor Dieckmann), north of Cape Wrath, Scotland., on June 10th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Penarth to a White Sea port with a cargo of coal. No lives were lost. Master A. Smith.
