Torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine UB-29 (Herbert Pustkuchen), near the Pakefield Gap Buoy off Lowestoft, on March 18th, 1916. The ship was on a voyage from Rouen to Newcastle in ballast. Master A. Le Normant.
