What we know about this image :

By 1931, Haswell House had not been sold. This was possibly because the big villas at West Park had become the 'posh' part of town and also house building away from Victorian street houses had increased dramatically.

This 1931 advert from Hartlepool Northern Daily Mail shows te property for sale 'at demolition price'. George Willson , George by then lived at Denehurst over the road and this property exists today known by loacls as the Pineapple House.
