Fate

The Danish steamship Dan was captured and sunk by the German submarine UC-21 (Luther von Arnauld de la Periere), off St. Nazaire, on January 24th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Sfax, Tunisia, to Nantes with a cargo of phosphates. No lives were lost.
