Masters: March 1834 James Watson Bell; 1843 Burgess; April 1846 William Peck; January 1847 Robert Thomas; March 1847 George Dining; April 1847-63 Alexander Benny (b.1813 North Shields).

Miscellaneous: June 1843 bound for Archangel they saved one of the crew of the Falcon of London which foundered along with the master, Cairns, & the 12 remaining crew; Athelstan was advertised to be auctioned on 7 November 1855 at South Shields & again in December 1874.
