At the bus stop Brenda Road

What we know about this image :

The lady is standing at a bus stop in Brenda Road waiting for a bus going into town. Just out of sight past the right hand house is Windermere Road and that house actually fronts onto Windermere Road. There are traffic lights now at the junction of these two roads but the houses are still recognisable.

There is no longer a sign on the fence requesting people not to lean on it. Having said that, the lady was not taking notice ! The photo is from the early 1950s.
