Bathing machines

What we know about this image :

Women on the beach with their perambulators. The Humbleby's and Proctor's bathing machines advertise Beechams Pills.

Until 1890 it was not allowed to bathe in the sea without using one of these machines and even then only north of Carr House. The machines eventually went out of use by 1907.
