The well-known Steel works bridge, which crossed the railway lines from a point behind the Expanded Metal works to the Seaton side. It has now been replaced with a small wooden bridge.

More detail »The Steelworks Bridge was a pedestrian footbridge which ran from Coronation Drive, in Seaton Carew, to Greatham Street on the Longhill Industrial Estate. The old bridge was demolished with the demise of the steelworls and replaced with a shorter, modern one which only crosses the railway line.
