Details about Foggy Furze Library

The library, in an old Victorian villa on Stockton Road bought by West Hartlepool Council, was opened in 1948. It thrived for many years, but was closed in March 2011 and  was demolished along with the tennis courts behind it.

Today, new housing is on the site.
