Fate

The British steamship Westfield was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-82 (Hans Adam) in the Western Approaches, on April 10th, 1918. The ship was on a voyage from Aguilas, Spain to Glasgow with a cargo of minerals. No lives were lost.
